Great value for money with clean and spacious bungalows. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking space. Convenient location in the middle of town with a morning market nearby. Beautiful views from the nearby temple. Loads to do in the surrounding area.
Some rooms had shared toilets/showers. No view of the tea fields.

During my stay at Shin Sane, I was impressed by the recent renovations that have been done. The owner was helpful and attentive, ensuring that my needs were met. The comforter provided in the room was perfect for the cold nights, and the hot water in the shower was amazing for chilly mornings. Additionally, the outside area was quite nice, and the location was great. Despite some minor inconveniences, I would still consider this place a good choice overall.
One specific incident that occurred was when my wife decided to take a common shower. Unfortunately, there was no light in the shower area, forcing her to use the flashlight on her iPhone.

We stayed at this cozy guesthouse for a few nights during our visit to the charming town. The bungalows were comfortable and well-equipped with new furniture and amenities. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The guesthouse had a sociable common room and a lovely outdoor terrace. There are plenty of delicious restaurants nearby serving Yunnanese cuisine. The morning market right at the entrance of the guesthouse was a great convenience. it was a great value for money and we had a wonderful stay.
100% Recommend this hotel!

The location of the guesthouse is excellent. It is close to the bus stop and within walking distance of the king mother memorial. Being nestled in the mountains, the surroundings are beautiful, especially in the morning when you can see the motorbikes passing by on their way to the market. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with new Ikea style furniture and bedding. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, with hot water for a refreshing shower. The staff provides friendly and helpful service, often going above and beyond to recommend places to visit.
The prices at the guesthouse can be a bit high, especially during the peak season.

The rooms at Shin Sane Guest House are amazing! Our room had a balcony with stunning city views, perfect for sipping morning coffee and enjoying the scenery. Plus, the free WiFi kept us connected throughout our stay. It was such a cozy and comfortable place to relax after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I found the seating area in the guest room a bit cramped. But hey, that's just me.

The balcony with city views made me feel like I was on top of the world. Plus, the free WiFi was a bonus for staying connected with friends back home. Can't ask for more as a beach lover!
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the mountain view patio. But hey, it's just my opinion!

I had a great experience at Shin Sane Guest House. the location was perfect, right next to the morning market and just a short walk to two delicious Chinese restaurants. the founder's history added to the charm of the guesthouse. the staff was friendly, helpful, and provided excellent information and recommendations. the rooms, although small, were exactly what we expected and the shared bathrooms were clean. the atmosphere in Mae Salong was relaxing and refreshing, and there were plenty of activities to do in the surrounding area. a highlight of our trip to Thailand!
Nothing that I didn't like. 😊.
